There are more than 368K children in the US that are in the foster care system. Of those children in foster care, there are approximately 108k that are eligible and waiting to be adopted. The average age of children who are adopted is 7.5 and these children wait an average of 19 months before being adopted into their forever family.

With so many children that are ready to be adopted, there are only 2-4% of families that end up adopting, however many more consider it - roughly 1/3 of Americans. With the cost of adoption through an agency ranging from $20-30K, adoption seems unattainable for many families. This is where you come in.
